1. Introduction 2. Task 3. Conclusion 4. Response 5. Data Sheet 6. Teacher’s Page
1. IntroductionThe Valley Zoo needs your help! The zookeepers have misplaced the information on the birds of prey in the Raptor exhibit. It is almost feeding time and they can’t remember what each bird eats. The zoo is going to have some very angry birds if they don’t get fed soon! (Click on the feathers to go back to the top.) 2. TaskThe names of the birds have been given to you. It is up to you to find out the information needed to tell the birds apart. You will need a worksheet to keep track of all the important information you will be gathering. Click here to print off a copy of this worksheet. Once you have printed the sheet, click on the back arrow to return to this page. You can find the information you need by clicking on the pictures of the birds. When you are done on that website, click the back arrow to return to this page.
3. ConclusionWhen you have collected all the information that is needed, quickly hand your worksheet in to your teacher so they can give it to the zookeepers immediately. Your teacher will then print off a surprise for you.
What did you think of this project? Did you have fun? Did you learn anything about birds that you did not already know? You can send the answer to these questions to one of the zookeepers at the Valley Zoo. Just click here and use the subject “Raptors”.
