MAKE AN INFORMATION POSTER

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Primate Basket

  • Poster paper

  • Pencil, scissors, glue

  • Primate Information Sheet

  • Title Sheet

 

 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

 

STEP 1 – SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

1.         Get a Primate Information Sheet from the Job 1 Folder.

2.         Decide what question you will answer on the sheet and tell your group.

3.         Use information to do your scientific research:

·       information books,

·       your zoo-school book,

·       the zoo school Website

·       Another Website for your primate (click on the picture of your primate):

4.         Get a sheet of paper from the Job 1 folder. Write down the answer to your question on the paper.

STEP 2  -- MAKE THE POSTER

Work with your group to make the information poster.

1. Get a poster paper.

2. Get the Title Worksheet from the Job 1 Folder.

3. Cut out the titles and glue them on the poster so they look like the Primate Information Sheet.  Click on this picture to see a sample:

4. Glue your written answer under the question you answered.

WHEN YOU’RE FINISHED

·       Clean up what you have used with your group.

·       Find a space with your group where you can read your poster together.  You will take turns reading out your primate question and answer to the group.
